Orders placed with Meridien Washrooms, either online or over the phone are accepted on a strictly trade basis only in any and all instances.
Cancellation of Orders
Orders of made to measure or special order goods cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstance after confirmation of order. This includes cubicles, vanity units, duct sets, and any and all other items described as 'made to measure' or 'special order' in their description.
The Buyer may cancel other orders at any time before they are dispatched by either: emailing email@example.com or telephoning 01202 216688 and requesting a cancellation.
Before returning any Goods to the Company the Buyer must contact the Company for returns authorisation by either: mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephoning 01202 216688 and requesting a returns note.
Returns of Faulty Items and Unwanted Items
All returns of unwanted goods are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Delivery and collectin costs will not be refunded under any ciscumstance.
If the Buyer believes their goods are faulty and wishes to return them the Company reserves the right in the first instance to send an engineer to inspect goods on site or send a third party engineer to investigate the fault.
In these instances if the inspection finds the fault is a result of misuse, vandalism, incorrect application, improper maintenance, incorrect installation or other cause that cannot be reasonably considered to be an inherent fault of the manufacture of the Goods, then a charge will be made for this inspection and the return request will be refused. The company reserves the right to require payment of this charge upfront prior to inspection, and to refund it if and when the Goods are proved faulty.
The Company reserve the right to require the Buyer to return the Goods to any UK postal address other than that of the main trading address of the Company.
Except where Goods are faulty no Goods shall be accepted for return 14 days after they have been delivered to the Buyers nominated address.
The Buyer may return Goods for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery / collection provided that ALL the following conditions are satisfied:
1. Goods will only be accepted if they are in new and unused, in original packaging and fit for immediate re-sale, AND
2. The Buyer obtains return authorisation and supplies the returns note and proof of purchase with the returned Goods in the same delivery.
Where Goods are accepted for return in accordance with all these conditions and upon inspection are found to be in full working order:
1. In every case a 20% restocking charge will be made; and
2. The risk and cost off returning the Goods shall be at the Buyer's cost.
Where Goods are returned not in accordance with these conditions or damaged whilst in your possession or that of your agent, representative or other the Company shall not be obliged to accept the return of those Goods. In such circumstances, we will notify the Buyer that the Goods are available for re-collection or re-delivery for which the Buyer shall be liable for any reasonable delivery charges incurred.
The Company will examine the returned Goods and will process any refund to the Buyer usually within 28 working days. Unless otherwise notified by the Company the price of the Goods will be refunded only, less any applicable restocking, administration, delivery and/or collection charges.
